Visitor Information Membership and Stewardship Each Presbyterian church is separately incorporated and is responsible for its own finances. As members, we commit ourselves each November (Stewardship Month) to a pledge for the coming year, so that the church does not rely on casual cash giving or ‘emergency’ requests. We teach that this intentional planning, to return to God part of His gifts to us, is the primary act of support. And then we carry out that commitment by placing our weekly pledge envelopes in the offering plate during each Sunday service. This annual Stewardship canvass is the only time we ask you to help provide for the finances of our church. Giving is a joyful opportunity at Moorings Presbyterian Church, helping us to grow closer to God and the needs of God’s people in this part of the world.
