He is the life skills coach at Naples High School for the football and track teams and also has a close working relationship with the Young Life Club at Barron Collier High. His summer highlight is taking kids on an annual mission trip to Mexico -- to get them out of their culture and experiencing building homes for the destitute as well as learning what it is like to spend a week without being “wired”—no cell phone, internet or tv.

Monty is married to his wife of 14 years, Tricia. They have four children ages 7-13: Mackenzie, Madison, Molly & Mason (twins).  As a family, you can find them around Seagate Elementary and Pine Ridge Middle, or playing ball in parks around the city.
